Mom said I started crawling on my bed when I was one (1) week old! Isn't it amazing?!

My youngest son may be once of the first ten BabyPlus baby in HK. He hardly ever cried since birth (only if it is absolutely necessaary. A very attentive and reasonable child. He has been a great learner since birth.

He started to read from around 18 months and speaks 5 languages before 4 years old. I do not believe in pushing children but I do support parents' endeavours to conduct parenthood in a responsible manner.

Learn more about the abilities of your child before deciding what is necessary and what is not.

ALL OF YOU ARE GREAT PARENTS. LET'S KEEP UP OUR GOOD WORK IN 2008

Okay, let's share.
Mine is a BabyPlus baby.
He is now 2.5 yrs old.
He knows Cantonese, English, Putongua, French (of course not very fluent :).  His classteacher commented his language ability is "advance".
BUT his physical / motor skill is a bit "slow".  He looks rather lazy, reluctant to run, cannot jump on both legs, though his class teacher said "no worry, he will be able to do that very soon".
And though my hubby and me are of medium size, my boy is amongst the smallest in his class.
Are these all the contribution of babyplus?

Babies are often lazy since we do not encourage them to exercise. Read the book "How to teach your baby to be physically superb" By Doman and buy a DVD to teach them to swim this summer.

Physical exercise builds the brain and this is a very important part for his early development.

Let's talk about primary school starting a new topic so we can keep this subject on parents' sharing on prenatal education.

Dear Edward

1.  Learn how to be an effective parent.  Read "Nurturing of Oxford Scholars" and learn the skills of good parents.
2.  Read Dizigui and understand the rules that you need to teach your little baby from day 1.
3.  Make a reservation to attend KinderU seminar on right brain education.
4.  No TV for the first two years but give your baby a stimulating environment by talking and playing and teaching him/her.
5.  Classical solo music is always good for your child.
